GENERAL PROVISIONS

This website is owned by CBT “Cricova-Vin” S.A. When placing an order in the online store, the Buyer accepts the Terms and Conditions for the sale of products and/or provision of services, based on the legislation of the Republic of Moldova (hereinafter — Terms and Conditions), as presented below. Use of the website implies acceptance of the Terms and Conditions proposed by CBT “Cricova-Vin” S.A., in accordance with Law no.284/2004 on Electronic Commerce. The relationship between the client and the seller is established on the basis of Law no.105/2003 on Consumer Protection and other normative acts adopted in accordance with it. The Seller reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions, and the Buyer is obliged to monitor the changes.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

By using the website www.cricova.md, the personal data provided by users is processed by the operator CBT Cricova-Vin S.A., in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 195 of 25.07.2024 on the protection of personal data and other applicable normative acts.

Personal data is collected and processed for determined, explicit and legitimate purposes, including the processing, confirmation and execution of orders placed on the website, the delivery of ordered products, the organization of delivery and communication with buyers. For this purpose, first and last name, phone number, delivery address and other data necessary for the execution of the order may be requested.

Payment for orders by bank card is carried out through the payment service provided by maib. To make a payment, the buyer is redirected to the secure page of the payment processor, where they enter their bank card details. Card data is processed by the payment processor in accordance with its own security and data protection rules. The Company does not collect or store complete bank card data, insofar as it is not transmitted to or retained in its systems.

Personal data may also be processed for sending promotional offers, newsletters, analyzing website usage through Google Analytics, and using cookies. Processing for these purposes is carried out on an applicable legal basis, and consent, when required, is obtained separately.

All information containing personal data is stored and used only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 133/2011 on the protection of personal data.

The Company applies appropriate commercial security measures to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information on the website. Transmission of data over the internet or a wireless network cannot be fully protected. Therefore, like other companies, we cannot guarantee the security of information provided by the Buyer, and they do so at their own risk.

Users benefit from the rights provided by the legislation on the protection of personal data, including the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and other applicable rights, under the conditions of the law.

ORDER REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Payment for orders is possible by card or cash (exclusively in Moldovan lei) at the time the order is received. After completing your order, you will receive a confirmation to the email address indicated in the order.

To make a payment, you will need to enter your bank card details. The transfer of this information is carried out in accordance with all necessary security measures. The information is transmitted in encrypted form and is stored only on a specialized server of the payment system. To complete the payment, the following details will be requested: card number (16 digits), expiration date (month and year), CVC or CVV code (3 digits), the cardholder’s name. If the card currency differs from the transaction currency (MDL), the issuing bank’s conditions will apply when converting the amount withheld from the card account.

The payment processor uses a secure system based on the latest version of the 3D-Secure security standard, which represents a new global approach to authenticating buyers in secure online transactions. This security measure involves redirecting the user, at the time of payment, to a secure MAIB page where each cardholder is authenticated by assigning a single-use code for each online transaction.

Refunds are made only to the payment card that was used for the purchase.

DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS / GOODS / SERVICES

After placing the order, the buyer is provided with information regarding the expected date of handover of the order to couriers / the delivery service. Free delivery from 1000 MDL within the Chișinău municipality is carried out within 48 hours of our operators confirming the order. For orders under 1000 lei, a delivery fee of 100 MDL applies. Orders received after 5:00 PM, on Sundays or on national holidays, will be delivered on the next working day. The delivery time may be extended in certain isolated situations (for example: unfavorable weather conditions, official holiday periods, unforeseen technical problems, etc.). The client will be informed in the event of any such situation.

You may choose any delivery address — home, office, or any other address — at no additional charge. We accept only one delivery address per order. If you need to deliver your order to different addresses, please register separate orders for each address. Upon receiving the products, please check the integrity of the packaging and the ordered products in the presence of the courier. Any subsequent claims regarding these aspects will not be accepted.

RIGHT OF RETURN

In accordance with the legal norms applicable in the Republic of Moldova, food products (including alcoholic beverages) that meet quality standards may not be returned or exchanged. This rule is clearly stipulated in Law no. 105 of 13.03.2003 on Consumer Protection. Nevertheless, we review every complaint with the utmost responsibility and are willing to approve the return or replacement of an item if the request is justified by inadequate quality, a manufacturing defect, or damage to the excise stamp.

• Goods damaged during transport (broken container, deformed packaging);
• Obvious bottling/production defects (faulty seal, abnormal sediment);
• Delivery of the wrong item — mismatch in order fulfillment;
• Expired shelf life at the time of receipt;

Rejected Requests

• Item is compliant in quality — the buyer simply changed their mind;
• The container has been opened or partially consumed;
• The product has aesthetic defects caused by the buyer’s fault;
• More than 24 hours have passed since receipt without notification being sent;
• Absence of proof of purchase or a fiscal receipt;
• Other exceptions stipulated by the applicable legal framework;
